Been using Cubase SX 3 for quite a while, but made the move to Reaper recently. It's great for my laptop, so I can make some music on the train commute to my day job!

I also mainly use GPO, and GVI as a plugin to run things like GOS and SAM Brass for orchestral stuff. Been getting Computer Music Magazine a lot lately for dance music, as they give out loads of great samples every month. Not to mention a host of random VSTis and plugins.

Proud to say my home gear is PC! :D

As I teach Music Technology, I use Macs a lot too, mainly using Logic Pro 7, Reason 2.5, Sibelius 4 and 5. We've also got there things like the VSL Chamber Strings.

Cubase SX3 [intending on upgrading to five in the next few months when money permits], Sibelius, guitar pro 5 [great for writing drum and guitar parts, I find personally], Reason and a load of vsti's [my favourite being Vanguard, brilliant vst].
